Now & Then #1: Harare, Zimbabwe
In the maiden voyage of the Now & Then podcast, Brian & Ryan take a journey to Zimbabwe’s capital, Harare. In 2011, Harare was voted the worst city to live in.
Ryan has a look at Harare’s troubled past, Robert Mugabe and for some reason, Clint Eastwood while Brian takes on a journey of what cool & awesome things there are to do in Harare.
In summary, the boys awkwardly lumber through this episode trying to be positive.
The Now & Then podcast is out Wednesday fortnightly.
Next episode is out on the 12th of Feb where the boys focus on Qom in Iran. But, another Brian Tells Stories interview is out next week (5th) where Brian speaks to a photographer who went to Pitcairn Island. Pitcairn Island is a tiny pacific island apart of the British colony with a population of 50 that made some unfortunate news in recent years.
In 2004, the tiny Pacific island of Pitcairn was torn apart when seven men were put on trial for sexually abusing children.
